Created 2026-08-21 • Updated 2026-08-21This is a CP/M port of "Beatle Quest", a text adventure written in 1985 by Garry Marsh for Number 9 Software, on the ZX Spectrum. This version has been rebuilt to run on the NABU & CP/M, following the original game's original game's own data and puzzles.
BQ.COM program is located on the N: drive in user area 2. To run this, look in the Internet Adapter or Headless menu and select Cloud CPM. After CPM loads and you are presented with a A:0> prompt, type the drive (N:), and then type the user area (user 2). If you type DIR, look for the COM file (BQ.COM). Enter that filename at the prompt to execute the Beatle Quest - Text Adventure.

WHAT THIS IS
This is a CP/M port of "Beatle Quest", a text adventure originally written in 1985 by Garry Marsh for Number 9 Software, running on the ZX Spectrum. This was a Text Adventure with simple pictures displayed in the top panel. This version is Text Only and has been rebuilt to run on the NABU PC under CP/M, faithfully following the original game's own data and puzzles.
