Search through text files for a specified pattern or string and display every matching line for fast content discovery.

GREP.COM program is located on the A: drive in user area 0. To run this, look in the Internet Adapter or Headless menu and select Cloud CPM. After CPM loads and you are presented with a A:0> prompt, type the drive (A:), and then type the user area (user 0). If you type DIR, look for the COM file (GREP.COM). Enter that filename at the prompt to execute the Grep.

Ported from Digital Research to z80 Cloud CP/M. Grep is a piece of history. It was initially developed for the first UNIX on the PDP-11.
